WHY FISH LAKE MICHIGAN, WAUKEGAN, ILLINOIS?

Lake Michigan fishing in Waukegan, Illinois is the hot spot of Lake Michigan's western shore and it's just about in your own backyard with excellent Salmon and Trout fishing in the palm of your hand.  Waukegan has been named the Salmon capital. 

April, May and June is the very best time to catch Coho Salmon, Brown Trout, and there are Chinooks ( KING SALMON ) to be caught which usually weigh in the 10 to 18 lb class.

July and August fishing is the best time for Chinook (KING) Salmon. Very strong fighters. All varieties of Lake Michigan fish are taken at that time.

September you have more of a mixed catch, Kings, Coho, Lake Trout, and Brown Trout. September and October is the best Lake Trout fishing as it's spawning time and can range in weight to over 30 lbs..

We catch all of Lake Michigan's fish, Coho Salmon, King Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, and Lake Trout, April  through September. The Bon-shell Charter boat is equipped with all the electronics and fishing gear needed to catch Lake Michigan's Salmon and Trout.
